Rabies & Animal Control Program — license modoc
Dog licenses may be obtained from the Environmental Health Department by mail or during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No license will be issued until a valid rabies vaccination certificate for the license year is presented.

Rabies & Animal Control Program — modoc deadline
Modoc County ordinance requires dog owners to license their dog within 30 days of becoming a resident or acquiring a dog or puppy over 4 months of age. Every dog owner is required to license their dog once each year. Pet owners must also keep their animals vaccinated against rabies once every two years.
