Official public library system associated with Solano County for browsing. Independent city library systems may also serve the county. Membership rules, branch service areas and every address in the county are not implied by this association.
Read the actual provider’s reviewed topic below. Eligibility, digital-only versus physical access, youth requirements and fees remain specific to this system; county association does not unify independent city or partner-library rules.
Before you start
- Information & documents · Free card, current California address/photo ID, under18 guardian signature and alternative parent ID
- Everyone is welcome to use the Solano County Library. Library cards are free. To get one you need photo identification and proof of your current California address. Children under the age of 18 need a parent or guardian’s signature. If a child doesn’t have acceptable ID, the Library will accept the parent or guardian’s identification and proof of current California address. [3]
- Availability · eCard electronic access and pre-visit holds
- E-cards (electronic library cards) provide immediate access to electronic resources such as downloadable books, articles, and online tutors. They are a quick way for new users to reserve items before making their first visit to the library. [4]
- Availability · Replacement card free; lost/damaged material fees separate
- There is no replacement fee for a lost, stolen or damaged library card. The charge for lost or damaged items is the cost of the items(s). Referral to a collection agency results in an additional $10 fee. You can pay your fees with cash, check or Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card at any Solano County Library. [5]
Choose the actual provider’s named branch and confirm its posted opening/contact arrangements before travel. Membership and special-card eligibility remain subject to the separate card rules; directory status widgets are not a CountyWiki live-opening guarantee.
