Inyo County was designated by the California Department of Aging (CDA), as the official Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Inyo and Mono Counties effective July 1, 2012, replacing the former governance structure under the Inyo Mono Area Agency on Aging (IMAAA) and establishing the Eastern Sierra Area Agency on Aging (ESAAA).
