The Ukiah Valley Fire Authority (UVFA) became effective on July 1, 2017, under a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) between the City of Ukiah and the Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District, titled the “Agreement for Shared Management of Fire Departments”.
