County waste resources; collection referral is for unincorporated Colusa County. Maxwell and Stonyford facilities have distinct rules and fees.
Recology’s County of Colusa page distinguishes Maxwell’s limited accepted materials, its residential-customer program, and a separate Butte-County-only facility. The County guide is an attributed provider referral, not a government-operated HHW facility.
Service area: Household/material-specific programme or referral only. Residency, customer eligibility, materials and receiving-site availability must be checked with the named programme; this is not unrestricted all-county disposal access.

- Up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds may be disposed of with each visit. Disposal at our facility is free to residential customers of Recology Butte Colusa Counties. To qualify for free disposal, you must provide proof of residency such as a utility bill.
