Public Works — Solid Waste Facilities
Mono County disposal facilities. Access, materials and winter closures vary by site; non-resident disposal has a separate permit application.
Read the County’s published HHW schedule, printed effective August 11, 2025, for household-only rules, the per-household monthly allowance and programme questions. The separate May 2025 HHW element describes Pumice Valley’s permanent facility and the limited batteries/oil/paint network. Confirm the particular material, receiving location, eligibility and current HHW intake arrangements before transport.
Service area: Mono County household-programme information. A county browsing context is not unrestricted receiving access, all-material acceptance at every transfer station, non-resident eligibility or a daily HHW operating schedule.
- Availability · Per-household monthly programme allowance; not a per-trip transport allowance
- The published allowance is 220 pounds per household per month. This monthly programme allowance does not establish a legal per-trip transport limit. Effective August 11, 2025
