Before you start

Bill assistance, crisis assistance and weatherization are different services. Some counties use separate providers for bills and home improvements.
Funding is limited. Meeting an income guideline or receiving help in a previous year does not guarantee a payment. Continue to contact your utility about payment arrangements and disconnection.
Check current application channels before visiting. Some providers accept only online or mailed applications; telephone hours, public visits and appointment times can differ.
