Before you start

County departments and independent city health departments have different jurisdictions. Long Beach, Pasadena and Berkeley retain their own entries.
These guides include reviewed programme links and selected purpose-specific contacts. Availability, clinical eligibility, fees, inspections and exact service areas remain programme-specific.
Santa Barbara County Health pages currently expose very little programme content; a complete county department review is still missing. Yolo HHSA has WIC information but its general public-health department identity remains a separate gap.
