Find official restaurant inspection information

Find health-department restaurant inspection information and official results portals. Reports have their own publication scope and update dates.

Before you start

  • County departments and independent city health departments have different jurisdictions. Long Beach, Pasadena and Berkeley retain their own entries.
  • These guides include reviewed programme links and selected purpose-specific contacts. Availability, clinical eligibility, fees, inspections and exact service areas remain programme-specific.
  • Santa Barbara County Health pages currently expose very little programme content; a complete county department review is still missing. Yolo HHSA has WIC information but its general public-health department identity remains a separate gap.

Modoc County Environmental Health is responsible for inspecting approximately 90 food facilities for compliance with State retail food laws. This includes markets, bars, mini-marts, liquor stores, mobile food facilities, bed and breakfast facilities, caterers, and general retail stores that sell food. In addition, temporary food facilities are also inspected at fairs and large community events. Wholesale food establishments are inspected by State or Federal Agencies.
